Cassville Police Department
The Cassville Police Department employs a total of eleven Officers.
Patrol Units, divided into three shifts with 24/7 coverage, patrol the 2.8 square mile city limits of Cassville. Each of the three shifts averages 60 miles per patrol unit, per shift. Cassville population is 3,266, with a day time population of 14,000. Calls for service per month average 500. This averages 72 calls per Patrol Officer, which does not include the time they spend on routine patrol, request for extra patrol, self-initiated activity, agency assist and special assignments.
The Community Policing Unit which consists of D.A.R.E./SRO Officer services the Cassville School System.
The Investigation Unit consists of a Detective and an Internet Crimes Against Children (I.C.A.C.) Investigator. The I.C.A.C. Investigator works with the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crime Task Force which covers 13 Counties.
The Cassville Police Department is also a member of the Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force which works in Barry County and McDonald County.
