The Cassville Police Department employs a total of twelve officers.
Patrol Units, divided into three shifts with 24/7 coverage, patrol the 3.22 square mile city limits of Cassville. Each of the three shifts averages 60 miles per patrol unit, per shift. The population of Cassville is 3,266, with a daytime population of 14,000. Calls for service per month average 500.
The City of Cassville Police Department partners with the Cassville R-IV School district to provide a School Resource/D.A.R.E officer who is present on campus every day of the school year.
The Investigations Unit consists of a Detective and an Internet Crimes Against Children (I.C.A.C.) Investigator. The I.C.A.C. Investigator works with the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crime Task Force which covers 13 counties.
The Cassville Police Department is also a member of the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team which works in Barry, Jasper, Barton, and McDonald counties.
